With all the realtors how can you pick the right one. We got lucky when we found Diane Varney. She sells low end to high end and mansions and with each property you are treated like you are the only one. She was able to sell our home in 5 days over asking price. Selling is stressful but Diane guided us through with ease, now she has become one of our friends.

Diane should be teaching a master class in real estate! Her knowledge of the Vegas Valley is exceptional, her negotiating skills are top notch and her follow up is so very much appreciated. This is the second transaction we’ve had the pleasure to utilize Diane’s expertise and it does not go unnoticed. Diane was fantastic to work with, we were selling a house out of state and buying in Las Vegas at the same time which meant everything had to align perfectly and I don't know how we could have done it without Diane's patience and expertise. While we were still trying to decide if Las Vegas would be our new home she took the time to meet with us, show us different neighborhoods, and answer our many questions about living in the area. Once we were under contract on the sale of our CA house she jumped into action immediately - helping us find the perfect house in our new community, communicating regularly with our CA real estate agent so that every step of the process was synced with the sale of our CA house, and using her connections with the mortgage and escrow companies to ensure every step went smoothly. With Diane's guidance we were able to find and close on a house, with an out of state sale involved - in only three weeks! We still can't believe how smooth the entire process was and give full credit to Diane's knowledge, connections, and determination that it would all work out. Diane was an incredible resource for us in searching for our new home. She had an intimate knowledge of the market and how trends were shifting which allowed us to position ourselves to get a great deal and insulate us from the expected market downturn in 2023. My husband and I recently purchased a beautiful home in Las Vegas, NV, with the help of our very competent Realtor, Ms. Diane Varney and her also very competent assistant, Ms. April Robledo.
Having lived in Hawaii for a number of years, we finally decided that a more economical and sensible place to live, especially heading into retirement, would be Las Vegas. Living there would also provide the nightlife that we enjoy, whether it be dining in nice restaurants, listening to an array of musicians who perform around town, or going to see an extravaganza in one of the hotels on the Las Vegas strip.
I flew out a few times to see different homes with Diane, and in my case, the third time was the charm and found what was to be our new home. It was a little different than what I’d imagined it would be and it didn’t have a pool already, which I wanted, but I knew as soon as I saw the house in person that there was a very good chance that this was going to be the one. Diane Varney was very patient and very professional throughout the process, from the first time we met, throughout our multiple meetings, and through the close of our escrow. She was always very thorough, listened and understood what I wanted in a house. Her assistant, April, was also a delight to work with, and they were both very responsive to my phone calls or emails with whatever questions or concerns I might have had. We will be putting a pool in shortly, and other than that, the house checked off pretty much all the boxes on my wish list I’d created before starting to look at homes.
Before going to Las Vegas in hopes of finding a home for us, I researched numerous Realtors online. I chose Diane to represent us in buying a home after reading her bio, learning about some of her interests, and I could just tell that she would do a good job for us and felt like we would have good synergy together, which we did. I’m sure you will feel that way too.
If you are looking to buy or sell a home in the Las Vegas area, I would encourage you to give Diane Varney a call. She has been in the real estate business for a long time now, and it’s very important to have an experienced Realtor on your team. I consider her now, not just a fine Realtor, but a good friend.
Thank you Diane Varney, and April, we’re really happy with the house we chose and I know we should be comfortable and happy in it for many years to come. Selling a home is more than a financial transaction. Thus, it calls for more than an ability to negotiating a deal. Initially, a good broker must be able to help the seller see the property through a buyer’s eyes rather than their own emotional eyes. Then they must help the seller prepare the house to appeal to the likely buyer and then commission a visual presentation that emphasizes its strengths. Next, the agent must accurately sort the wheat from the chaff - the potentially viable buyers from those who are unlikely to be able or willing to buy. Finally, the agent must help the seller cope with the ups and downs along the path from accepting an offer to achieving a closing sale. Diane Varney bring all of these skills to every contract she accepts. she give us excellent advice at each stage of the process, kept us informed through the twists and turns of the Transaction,a facilitated the closing. In October of 2107 my parents requested information on selling their property from four different real estate brokers. Three answered their request with the usual form letter. Diane Varney answered their request with a personal phone call. She and her staff gave up to the date information on selling and buying property in Las Vegas.
In 2019 when the time was right for them to move to another state to be closer to family, Diane met with them and in a couple of weeks of one on one attention the house was sold. Diane is a very knowledgeable and organized person. If you want your move to go smoothly, Diane Varney is the realtor to choose. They wrote this review and I am posting it for them.

We were referred to Diane by a very good friend of ours, after we explained that we had pulled our house out of the market due to a frustrated effort selling our house via a different agency.
From the very beginning, she made us feel like she had a complete understanding of the market and displayed an unwavering confidence in her ability to sell our home.
We were skeptical. We had been left confused and disappointed by our previous attempt to have our house sold.
But she reviewed the local market trends, our prior marketing strategy and then explained her team's marketing strategy. She brought a professional photographer who took new pictures of our home and then created a staged slideshow. And within 3 days of posting the house, she sold our house!
And she did not stop there. Her team handled all inspection requests. If someone had to be home while we were at work, her people took care of it. If HOA matters had to be updated, she got it done. And more importantly, she made sure all the paperwork was moving along in a timely manner before closing. At closing, she made sure any and all questions were properly settled.

t is difficult to write an honest review for Diane without sounding like a paid advertisement. She is simply the BEST (as proven by her manymany industry awards). We will use her in the future and recommend that our friends do as well. Having lived her entire life in Vegas, Diane knows everything there is to know about Vegas/Henderson real estate. My family moved 2,000 miles across the country, knowing very little about Vegas beforehand, and Diane patiently, professionally, and compassionately walked with us through every step of the tedious process. Before my wife and I came into town for three days to look at and put some offers on houses, Diane got to know us and our wants and desires through phone and email conversations, and had a long list of houses she tracked down for us to tour while in town. She assured us that she would take care of us, and successfully calmed our nerves about the process. During our visit to town (my first time ever in Vegas), Diane devoted her schedule to touring us throughout the valley. When we first walked into the house that we ended up buying, Diane knew my wife and I so well that without us saying anything to her, she was on the phone with the seller's realtor within minutes of our arrival, letting her know we'd be putting an offer on the house and asking questions on our behalf. It was frankly incredible, and made us feel so supported and taken care of. Her awesome negotiation skills then saved us over $15k off of the asking price. On the personal side, my wife and I were smitten by Diane from our first conversation. She is simply a lovely, loving, and fun person, and we really enjoyed all the time we spent with her. I now consider Diane not only to be our realtor for life but a friend as well. You can't get any better than Diane and her team.

I cannot praise Diane Varney highly enough. We have used her for three real estate transactions now and all three were handled with absolute professionalism. Our most recent transaction involved the sale of my childhood home following the death of my mother. Diane was so supportive and sensitive to how difficult a transaction this was for me emotionally. She made a very painful experience bearable. We got our full asking price and the house closed quickly without any problems. She is on top of EVERYTHING from beginning to end. With Diane, she is always available to answer questions and you never have to sit and wonder what's happening with your listing or where your realtor is because she is always updating you. I would never use anyone else to handle my real estate transactions.
