Home - it's where we begin. Where we start our life story. Home is where we raise our families, live our dreams, and take shelter during our sorrows.

Home has always been very important to me. Growing up in the 1970's as the daughter of a very hard working, but very young single mom, we never had the chance to have a home of our own. And as a girl it was something I always yearned for; family, tradition, comfort, stability.

My hardworking dad also never had the chance to own a home. That hit especially hard as he was a veteran of the VietNam war, an Army Ranger who fought three tours on the front lines and paid the ultimate price when I was a teenager due to his Agent Orange exposure. Sadly, trying to keep up with ever increasing rents, moving often to find a cheaper place, he never felt settled. A soft place to land is the least our country's heroes should be afforded, especially during hardship and illness.

When my own children suffered through the pain of divorce, I learned again why home is so vital to peace and happiness; we all need a place to rest our heads, to know we are safe, and to know we are loved. 

When I became a Realtor, my greatest wish was that I could help people achieve the dream of home. Purchasing real estate will be the largest transaction most people will ever make. So, in addition to home being comfort and love, it can also be a source of financial security and a stepping stone to building individual or family wealth. Helping people navigate this milestone is a great privilege to me, and I take the responsibility of it very seriously.
